About

UX Researcher & Cognitive Neuroscientist.

  • B.A.Sc. Arts & Science, Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour
  • PhD Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience specialization)

My journey began in cognitive neuroscience, where I explored brain development and cognitive processes using neuroimaging, cognitive testing, behavioural assessments, and genetic data. Through years of research, I found a drive for asking meaningful questions 🤔, making sense of complex data 📈, and turning insights into impact 🌎. This path led me to an interest in user research and applied research 🔍 in industry—where an understanding of the mind remains at the core.

Along the way, my PhD gave me more than subject expertise—it trained me to think critically and creatively 🧠 , learn new domains of knowledge with curiosity, ease, and enthusiasm 📚, manage complex projects from start to finish 📆, and navigate ambiguity with clarity and excitement📍. I developed the ability to synthesize large volumes of information 📊, clearly communicate insights to diverse audiences 👩‍🏫, and lead with empathy and precision 💖.

Interests

Spaces where I unwind, explore, and reconnect 😌

Dance has always provided me with a sense of calmness and joy! Over the years, I’ve explored a range of dance styles, from the grace of ballet, the energy of hip-hop to the expressive storytelling of Bollywood. Most recently, I’ve immersed myself in Kathak, a classical Indian dance form that weaves together intricate footwork, rhythmic patterns, and expressive gestures.

What I love the most about Kathak is the balance that it demands - it’s both structured and fluid, precise yet poetic. Every spin, beat, and gaze requires deep concentration and control. It is a beautiful juxtaposition of discipline and artistry that I find meditative and energizing!

Data by day... Dance by night 💃🏽

There is something truly special about international travel—the way it opens your mind, stretches your comfort zone, and invites you into entirely new ways of seeing the world. I love learning about different cultures, meeting individuals with unique stories, and visiting places steeped in history or filled with breathtaking views. Each journey leaves me with a deeper sense of gratitude, perspective, and appreciation for the incredible diversity of experience in our world.

Whether it's a mid-day stroll or a slow walk at dusk, being near the water is where I find both serenity and clarity—it creates moments of stillness amidst the movement of life

Peace in the Pulse of Water 🌊

A reminder that growth does not come all at once—it arrives steadily, through effort, consistency, and care

The Power of Showing Up 👏🏽

I am deeply fascinated in technology—especially how it intersects with human behaviour. I find myself constantly curious about emerging tools and platforms, and how they quietly manage to reshape the way we communicate, make decisions, and navigate the world. I believe that impactful technology begins with empathy: understanding the people that it's built for.

Innovation in Every Click 📱

I have a deep appreciation for the way people use language—a single phrase, lyric, or passage can capture something universal in a manner that feels deeply personal. There’s a beauty in the way others express what we often struggle to say ourselves, and I love discovering those moments through music and literature.
